Another Day Of Work

I think I'm going to invent nanobots just so that I can avoid going to the dentist. Having someone prod at your gums with ( what seems like an extremly sharp ) metal stick is not my definition of fun. I know it works for some people out there, but not me. It's kind of sad that my main motovation now to brush my teeth is to avoid more painfull prodding of my gums, isn't it?

In other news, I was part of the news last night. Not the prime time stuff. My buddy Paulish has been volunteering as a cameraman for Shaw for about a year now, and last night they were short a cameraman. So I got to fill in. But I'm fairly sure that none of you saw anything that I filmed.

Why?

Cause I filmed the Port Coquitlam council meeting. You know, those sessions that the Mayor and all his lackeys have that get shown on the Shaw multicultural channel? Well, I got to film that. Now I have TV AND film credits. Not that anyone is going to see either of them.

For a bit of random goodness, follow this link here to check out the cubical that I'm going to be spending quite a bit of time in from now on. Isn't it magical? I really kind of wish my monitor was facing the wall, so people walking by my cubical can't see how little I actually work.

Hrmm. Just stumbled upon this interesting Wired news story on being single. I don't know about any of you four readers, but I'm not really sure how I feel when I go out by myself. I occasionally go to movies and out to lunch/dinner by myself, but I don't feel like I'm being a burden on where I go simply because I'm by myself. I guess I'm one of those people who would prefer to stay single, rather than be in a relationship just for the sake of being in a relationship. If I'm going to be dating someone, it's because I like that person and want to spend time with them, not because I can't stand being alone anymore.

And before I leave, I found another really good webcomic, to be found at MacHall.com.
